Privacy policy
Last updated 13 September 2026
undae is built to work without knowing anything about you. This page explains, in plain language, what that means in practice. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hi@undae.app and we'll clarify it.
The short version
- undae doesn't ask you to create an account, sign in, or give us your name or email to use the app.
- There is no analytics software in undae. We don't know how often you open it, which movements you do, or whether you use it at all.
- Your anchors, reminders, movement history, and settings are stored only in a local database on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us or to any server.
- The only data that ever leaves your device is an anonymous purchase identifier, and only if you buy the optional subscription — see "Purchases" below.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the undae iOS app, published by hellocelia ("we", "us", "undae"). It doesn't cover third-party services you reach through links we provide, such as Apple's own policies for the App Store.
Information we collect
We don't collect personal information through the app. undae has no sign-up flow, no login, no user profile, and no contact form inside the app. We don't ask for your name, email address, location, or photos, and the app doesn't request access to any of them.
If you choose to email us directly — for support, a bug report, or a question — we'll have whatever information is in that email (typically your email address and whatever you tell us). We use it only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any marketing list without your separate consent.
What stays on your device
Everything undae needs to function — your chosen anchors, their reminder times, your posture focus, your movement history, and your app settings — is stored locally, in a database on your iPhone. This data is never transmitted to us, backed up to any cloud service we run, or shared with any third party. If you delete the app or lose your device, this data is gone with it; we can't recover it, because we never had it.
Local reminder notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device through Apple's notification system. They don't pass through any server of ours.
Purchases
undae offers an optional, auto-renewing subscription for additional features. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system and processed through RevenueCat, a subscription management service we use to check which features your device is entitled to.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous, per-device identifier and your purchase/transaction information from Apple in order to validate your entitlement — it does not receive your name, email, or any of the movement or anchor data described above. We don't see your payment details at any point; those are handled by Apple. You can read RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
No tracking, no advertising
undae contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting service, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We don't build a profile of you, and we don't sell or share data with advertisers, because there's no data of that kind to sell or share.
Children's privacy
undae is not directed at children, and because the app collects no personal information from any user, there is no personal data collected from children either. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through email correspondence, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Because undae stores your data locally and we hold nothing about you on our servers, most of it is already entirely in your control — deleting the app deletes it. If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another region with its own data protection law, and you have any question about data you've sent us directly (for example, by email), you can ask us to access, correct, or delete it by writing to hi@undae.app.
Changes to this policy
If we change what undae collects or how it works, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we'll make reasonable efforts to flag it inside the app itself.
