Terms of service

Please read these terms before using undae. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Definitions

• "undae", "the app", "the Service" means the undae iOS application, published under bundle identifier com.hellocelia.undae.
• "We", "us", "the Company" refers to hellocelia, the publisher of undae.
• "You" refers to the person using the app.
• "App Store" refers to Apple's App Store, the only place undae is distributed.

Using undae

undae is a personal wellbeing tool that reminds you, at times you choose, to do a short physical movement. It runs entirely on your iPhone; it does not require an account and does not depend on a server we operate to function. Your access to the app is conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms and of our Privacy Policy.

You need an iPhone running a compatible version of iOS to use undae. We may change, add to, or remove features of the app over time.

Not medical advice

undae is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The movements in the app are general mobility and posture exercises, not a substitute for professional care. Check with your doctor before starting if you're pregnant, injured, or managing a heart condition, and stop any movement that causes pain. You're responsible for judging what's appropriate for your own body.

The free tier and undae Pro

undae is free to use, and the free tier is permanent — we don't lock you out after a trial period. The free tier includes 3 anchors, 4 movements (one per posture pattern), Office Mode (always on), and reminders.

undae Pro is an optional, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited anchors, the full movement library, the ability to turn Office Mode off, and vibration cues. Subscription options, pricing, and any introductory offer are shown in the app and in the App Store listing at the time of purchase, and are billed and managed by Apple, not by us.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies — we cannot issue refunds directly, since we never receive your payment information.

We use RevenueCat to check which entitlements your purchase unlocks; see our Privacy Policy for what that involves.

Your data and your device

undae stores your anchors, reminders, movement history, and settings locally on your device, and does not back them up to a cloud service we operate. If you delete the app, lose your device, or reset it without a device-level backup, that data is lost, and we have no way to restore it. Keeping your own backups of your device (for example, through iCloud or iTunes/Finder backup) is your responsibility.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where applicable law explicitly permits it; not to use the app in any way that violates applicable law; and not to interfere with the app's operation or attempt to circumvent its subscription or entitlement checks.

Intellectual property

undae, its content (including the movement library, its text and instructions), its design, and the character Pogo are owned by hellocelia or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Using the app doesn't transfer any ownership of that content to you. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Third-party services

undae relies on Apple (for distribution, in-app purchases, and notifications) and RevenueCat (for subscription validation). We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their availability or behavior. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the parts of the experience they handle.

Termination

You can stop using undae at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at our discretion — for example, if we stop supporting it — though we'll try to give reasonable notice for anything that affects an active subscription.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

undae is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you've paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for consumer protections you may be entitled to in your country of residence.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to hellocelia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country of residence give you additional rights that cannot be waived — those continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where practical, note it in the app. Continuing to use undae after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
